Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of InsureMyFam.com (the “Site”), operated by JC Rangel, an independent licensed insurance agent (“InsureMyFam,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By using the Site, requesting a quote, submitting a form, or otherwise communicating with us through the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. The Site Is Informational
The content on this Site is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not insurance, tax, legal, investment, or financial advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy or keep any particular product.
Nothing on this Site is an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, insurance in any jurisdiction where such an offer or solicitation would be unlawful.
2. No Agency or Client Relationship Is Created
Using the Site, reading its content, or submitting a form does not create an agent-client relationship, and it does not bind coverage.
No coverage exists unless and until an application has been submitted to a carrier, underwritten, approved, issued, and the required premium has been paid in accordance with the carrier’s terms.
3. Quotes, Pricing and Underwriting
Any quote, figure, illustration, or example shown on this Site or provided in response to a request is an estimate only.
Final pricing and eligibility are determined solely by the issuing carrier through its own underwriting process, and depend on factors including your state, age, health, tobacco use, the product selected, and the amount of coverage.
Coverage availability, terms, riders, and pricing vary by state and by carrier. Living benefits availability depends on the carrier and the policy form.
Indexed Universal Life policies include policy charges, cost of insurance, and surrender charges. Cash value growth is subject to index caps and floors.
4. Tax Statements
Any description of tax treatment reflects current Internal Revenue Code provisions, is general in nature, and is not personalized tax advice. Tax law changes and individual circumstances differ. Consult a qualified tax professional before relying on any tax statement.
5. Licensing
JC Rangel is an independent licensed insurance agent. Insurance products are offered through licensed insurance carriers. Products and services are available only in states where the agent and the issuing carrier are properly licensed.
6. Information You Submit
You agree that any information you submit through the Site is accurate, complete, and your own to provide, and that you are at least 18 years of age.
Providing inaccurate or incomplete information may affect the accuracy of any quote and may affect an application or the coverage ultimately issued.
How we handle the information you submit is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
7. Communications Consent
When you submit your telephone number or email address, you agree that we may contact you about your inquiry, insurance options, appointments, applications, or related services, by telephone, email, or text message, in accordance with the consent language shown at the point of submission.
Message and data rates may apply to text messages. You may reply STOP at any time to opt out of marketing text messages.
Consent to receive marketing communications is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Site to submit false or fraudulent information, to submit information about another person without their authorization, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems, to interfere with the Site’s operation or security, or to use automated means to scrape, harvest, or overload the Site.
9. Intellectual Property
The Site and its content, including text, layout, graphics, and logos, are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not otherwise copy, republish, or redistribute the Site’s content without our prior written permission.
10. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may link to third-party websites or rely on third-party services for hosting, analytics, scheduling, or communications. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, practices, availability, or security of those third parties.
11. No Warranty
The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any information on the Site is current or complete.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Site or your reliance on any information on it.
Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JC Rangel and Valiant Agency from any claim, demand, loss, or expense, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
14. Changes to the Site and to These Terms
We may modify or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We may also update these Terms periodically. When we do, the updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date, and your continued use of the Site after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Insurance products themselves remain governed by the law of the state in which the policy is issued and by the terms of the policy.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

This site is for information. A quote is an estimate, not coverage. Coverage begins only after a carrier underwrites, approves, and issues a policy and the premium is paid. Availability and pricing vary by state, age, health, and carrier.
